From April 26th thru April 29th, 2015, Quincy Street Distillery will host and sponsor Handmade Bourbon Bottle, an exhibition of ceramic vessels by local, regional, and national artists paying homage to the tradition of drinking bourbon from ceramic vessels, inspired by bottles, decanters, and flasks that were used in its enjoyment throughout the 18th and 19th centuries. The exhibition will feature handmade ceramic jugs, bottles, decanters/ewers, flasks and cups functional for serving, holding, and sharing bourbon. Many of the pieces will be available for purchase after the exhibit. There will be a public reception on Sunday, 26 April, 3-6pm. Tours on the previous Friday and Saturday may get a sneak preview of the exhibit.
