We just released our first 3-year-old bottling of Laughton Bros.™ Illinois straight bourbon whiskey. This 3-year-old release has a distinctive flavor obtained by aging the bourbon aged 3 years in a 53g char-3 barrel compared to the same bourbon aged 2 years in the same kind of barrel. The result is a more aromatic nose and longer finish compared to the 2-year-old bottling of Laughton Bros.™ Our first bottling of Laughton Bros.™ in 2018 bears the stencil “Illinois Bicentennial 1818-2018” to celebrate the founding of our state two centuries ago. Available now in 750ml 45.5% alc by vol for the same $56/bottle at the distillery Retail Shop. But look for this release to be available soon through our distributor Burke at major Illinois retailers.
