We released this week a limited bottling of The Portage™, our series of Illinois straight whiskies from malted grains. This is our second release of The Portage™ since two years ago. The Portage™ Straight Malt Wheat Whiskey is distilled from 80% malted red wheat and 20% malted oats specially produced for us at Pilot Malt House, then aged two years in a small oak barrel. We made just 18 cases in 375ml bottles at 45% alcohol by volume, available only at the distillery Speakeasy and Retail Shop. Note, we likely will not release another version of The Portage™ for at least another year.
