We are announcing the first-ever, craft-distilled Illinois Bottled-in-Bond whiskey. North American Steamship Rye™ Straight Single Malt Rye Bottled in Bond whiskey is a landmark in the continued growth and importance of the craft distillation movement in the state. We will release this weekend the newest yet oldest version of our artisanal malt rye whiskey, North American Steamship Rye™. Handmade in our distillery from the 100% rye malt that was used for earlier versions of this whiskey, but aged in a full-size (53 gallon) new char-3 oak barrel for four years and bottled at 100 proof. This is our oldest whiskey released to date, and is currently the oldest whiskey distilled in Illinois. The retail price will remain $66 for a 750ml bottle of 100 proof whiskey.
